If Ware Schools are closed due to inclement weather, the Adult Day Health Program will be closed as well. If the schools are delayed, watch or look on our website for closing status of the program as indicated above.

·         As always remember that we need a current and updated list of medications. If there are changes during a medical office visit, please ask the doctor to write and sign the changes for our records. The changes should include name of drug, frequency, and parameters if to be given on an “as needed” basis. Thank you.

·         We turn on the air conditioner when the temps get around 74 degrees. We ask that you have a light sweater available at the program in case you get chilled.

Please remember that infection control is very important to our frail population.

·         If a participant should present with symptoms that may be contagious please stay at home.

·         Symptoms include frequent productive coughing, runny nose and sneezing, a temp of greater than 100˚ F, vomiting, diarrhea, generalized malaise and body aches indicative of beginning of the flu.
