The Highlands

The Highlands Residence is home to six consumers referred by the Department of Mental Health. This house is fully handicapped accessible and offers a wide range of adaptive equipment including a walk-in showers and handrails throughout the house. Each individual consumer has his/her own private bedroom in a bright, clean, and cheerful environment. The Highlands Residence also features a large front porch, and private back yard with a patio and recreation area.

The Residential Manager is responsible for the care and well being of all participants in the program. They have the ability to act as an advocate for older adults and are responsible for creating activities and opportunities for participants that promote independence and growth. The Manager supervises and coaches residential employees to develop an effective team approach to treatment.
