The McKinstry Street Residence is home to six consumers referred by the Department of Mental Health. This residence is unique in that it is a one level, duplex-style home, with four consumers on one side receiving more intensive 24-hour services, and two semi-independence consumers on the other side. This house is fully handicapped accessible and offers a wide range of adaptive equipment including walk-in showers and handrails throughout the house. Each individual consumer has his/her own private bedroom in a bright, clean, and cheerful environment. The McKinstry Street Residence also features a walk out patio and large back yard.

The Residential Manager is responsible for the care and well being of all participants in the program. They have the ability to act as an advocate for older adults and are responsible for creating activities and opportunities for participants that promote independence and growth. The Manager supervises and coaches residential employees to develop an effective team approach to treatment.
